When to go to Floreana Island

Best for the beach from December to January and from May to July.

The sea is warmest in March (27 °C) and coolest in September (22 °C). You can swim comfortably all year (21 °C or more).

Floreana Island is an island in Ecuador. It belongs to Galapagos Islands. It covers 173 km², with 71 km of coastline. Its highest point, Cerro Pajas, rises to 444 m. About 100 people live on it. The nearest mainland is 1,045 km away. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
