When to go to Isabela Island

Best for the beach from May to July and from November to December.

The sea is warmest in March (26 °C) and coolest in August (22 °C). You can swim comfortably all year (21 °C or more).

Isabela Island is an island in Ecuador. It belongs to Galapagos Islands. It covers 4,711 km², with 459 km of coastline. Its highest point, Volcán Wolf, rises to 1,707 m. About 3,000 people live on it. The nearest mainland is 1,096 km away. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
